This policy explains what personal data Maintenance Loan Calculator (“we”, “us”) collects when you use maintenanceloancalculator.com, why, and your rights. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for visitors in the EU, the EU GDPR.

We never receive your full card details. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal, who act as independent controllers for payment data under their own privacy policies.
3. Who we share data with
We use trusted providers (processors) to run the site:
- Vercel – website hosting
- Neon – database hosting (contact messages, Premium accounts and orders)
- Google – Analytics and AdSense (only with your consent where required)
- Stripe and PayPal – payments
We don’t sell personal data.
4. International transfers
Some providers store or process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge where the provider is certified) or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep data
- Contact messages: up to 24 months
- Premium accounts: while your account is active, then up to 12 months
- Payment records: 6 years, for tax and accounting
- Analytics data: up to 14 months (Google Analytics retention setting)
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email us. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local data protection authority if you’re in the EU.

8. Children
The site is intended for people aged 16 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Security
We use HTTPS throughout, store passwords only as salted hashes, restrict admin access, and keep software up to date.
